    The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is an entrance test to get admitted to business and management programs offered worldwide. It is a Computer Adaptive Test (CAT) administered by the Graduate Management Admission Council to assess the analytical, writing, verbal, quantitative, spoken and reading capabilities. A number of universities and institutions utilise GMAT as an entrance exam to the programs.

    • The GMAT is categorized into four parts (1) analytical writing assessment, (2) integrated reasoning, (3) verbal section and (4) quantitative section.
    • One can appear upto 5 times in a 12-month time span.
    • The total score is determined from 200 to 800.
    • The score is valid upto 5 years
    • There is a provision of reporting GMAT test scores to a maximum of five universities of your choice, the cost of which is built into the GMAT test fee you pay.

    Graduate Record Exam (GRE) is the most common admission test to graduate and business schools in the United States. Administered by a non-profit organization known as Educational Testing Service (ETS), it assesses critical thinking, analytical writing, quantitative reasoning and verbal reasoning abilities. 

    • The exam can be taken upto 5 times in a 12 month period of time.
    • The score is valid for a period of 5 years
    • There is a provision of reporting your GRE test scores to a maximum of four universities of your choice, the cost of which is built into the GRE test fee you pay.

    SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) is one of the standardized tests conducted for admission to various colleges in the USA for students seeking admission to undergraduate programs. It tests the written, verbal and mathematical skills of the candidates.

    • There are two types of SAT:
      i) SAT General Test: Conducted in October, December, March, and May. 
      ii) SAT Subject Test: It is designed to measure a secondary school student’s proficiency in a particular subject- conducted in October, November, December, May, and June.
    • The SAT score ranges from 600 to 2400 distributed into three 800-point sections 
    • The score is valid for a period of 5 years
    • There is a provision of reporting your SAT test scores to a maximum of four universities of your choice until 9 days after the test, the cost of which is built into the SAT test fee you pay.
